Job summary

Teknion is seeking an A&D Market Manager in Calgary to drive sales of our design-focused products within a team-selling environment, engaging established architectural and design firms and individual designers. You will lead development of new prospects, collaborate with Sales and Marketing to tailor programs, and support orders from lead time to installation while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of sales process and strategic selling techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Well-developed organizational and decision-making skills
• A thorough understanding of the design process and familiarity with the design community
• Knowledge of Teknion products is an asset
• Knowledge of market competition is an asset
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Sell Teknion's products to established architectural and design firms and individual designers.
• Develop new prospects in the design community by sourcing new design firms and networking with existing firms.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop and maintain a sales program based on clients' objectives and requirements.
• Support designers with a consultative approach and communicate available resources.
• Assist in managing orders from lead time to installation, updating designers on progress.
• Maintain accurate reports and Salesforce data for sales management.
• Lead or assist in responses to RFPs and in creating typicals for client projects and bids.
