Job summary

Bison Transport Inc is seeking Company Drivers for an open board truck share across Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, with some Manitoba as required. The role operates on a 7 on 7 off rotating schedule, averaging 2200–2500 miles per week, with regional work and overnight trips.

You must have 12 months of tractor-trailer experience and a valid Class 1/AZ license, be able to work weekends, and lift 50 lb or more.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to drive highways in BC; 12 months a year
• Must have 6 months of BC mountains experience
• Must be able to drive to Thomson, MB 12 months a year
• Must be able to lift 50 lb or more
• Must be willing to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
• Reefer experience is an asset
• CP Rail experience is an asset
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Values safety

Responsibilities

• Operate truck on open board within Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan (some Manitoba as required)
• Follow rotating 7 on 7 off schedule
• Maintain average weekly mileage of 2200–2500 miles
• Complete overnight trips up to six nights per week
• Engage in regional work as required
• Utilize spare unit in home daily capacity if available

Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This truck share position is running open board within Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, with some Manitoba as required. Working 7 ON 7 OFF on rotating schedule Average of 2200-2500 miles per week Hours and days of work might change from time to time according to operational demands. Regional work will be required Overnight trips are required; will be on the road up to six nights per week Additional work might be available upon request in spare unit in home daily capacity Smoking Truck share unit

Candidate Profile:

• Company Driver with 12 months of tractor-trailer experience
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
• Must be able to work weekends
