Job summary

Bison Transport Inc. is seeking a company driver team based in Mississauga to handle cross-border routes into Michigan and the Midwest. You will operate a two-person team, with a schedule that spans five days, focusing on safety, reliability, and on-time deliveries.

The role requires a minimum of 12 months tractor-trailer experience, a valid Class 1/AZ license, and a FAST card for both drivers. Competitive weekly pay and strong support are offered.

Qualifications

• Company Driver Team with a minimum of 12 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Must have a qualified team partner.
• Must be U.S. Qualified.
• Both Drivers must hold a valid FAST card.
• Must be able to drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year.
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-border routes between Mississauga, ON and Midwest U.S./Michigan destinations.
• Safely manage high-mileage schedule and adhere to HOS requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and partner driver.
• Maintain vehicle safety and perform basic pre/post-trip inspections.

Job description

$1500 Sign on Bonus/team. Earn an avg. of $8700/month per Driver. Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This cross-border team schedule runs 5 days out and averages 5K miles per week Depart Tuesday at 0600 to 0700 pick up in Mississauga to deliver in Flint, MI at 1430 and reload to Winnipeg Depart Wednesday by 1200 drop in the Winnipeg yard and reload to the Midwest U.S. Depart Thursday by 0700 live unload in the Midwest U.S. and arrive in Flint, MI by 1400 to reload by 1500 to Winnipeg Depart Friday by 1200 drop in the Winnipeg yard and reload to Ontario Depart Saturday by 1400 drop in the Mississauga yard Additional work might be available upon request depending on freight and HOS Freight and destinations might vary on occasion
