Job summary

Dufferin Aggregates, a CRH Canada company, seeks a Licensed 433A Millwright to support maintenance and reliability across our Ontario sites. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, along with installing and repairing concrete production equipment, conveyors, pumps and boilers.

Welding and rigging knowledge are valued as part of the job. Starting wage is $43.04/hr with shift premiums of $1.25/hr for Afternoon and Night shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid 433A Millwright license required.
• Experience in heavy industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment through preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Participate in annual shut-downs and project work.
• Troubleshoot and repair concrete production equipment (belt conveyors, pumps, boilers, etc.).
• Welding, cutting, brazing using various methods and metals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain equipment in proper operating condition through preventative and corrective maintenance and providing support during breakdowns.
• Responsible for project work (process and/or continuous improvement, reliability) and part of the annual shut-down team responsible for overhauls
• Troubleshooting and maintain(repair, overhaul, install, replace) of Ready-Mix concrete production equipment: belt conveyors, screw conveyors, dust collectors, pumps, pneumatic gates and actuators, compressors, boilers & water heaters, and similar equipment.
• Welding, cutting, brazing using different techniques and with different metals.
• Troublt and matain transmission systems from motors to gearboxes, sheaves/pulleys, shafts, bearing
• Removal of outdated and unused equipment as assigned.
• Housekeeping duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid 433A Millwright License
• 5 Years of expeirence in an heavy industrial setting as a Millright.
• Expeirnece welding, cutting, brazing using different techniques and with different metals
• Hoisting and Rigging knowledge (considered strong asset)
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, work procedures
