Job summary

Combined Metal Industries (CMI) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in North York. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, cranes, skid steers, and forklifts to keep our fleet safe and productive.

The ideal candidate holds a 310 Truck and Coach Technician Certification with 2–3 years of experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must hold 310 Truck & Coach Technician Certification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to perform in all types of weather and a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and CVI inspections on trucks/trailers.
• Execute scheduled repairs on trucks/trailers and run repairs as needed.
• Repair forklifts, skid steers and cranes where possible.
• Complete required paperwork and manage inventory of parts.
• Support drivers and equipment operators with technical knowledge.

Location: North York, ability to travel between sites

Shift:

• Day Shift (Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 3:30pm; Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm)
• Afternoon Shift (Monday to Thursday 2:30pm to 12:00am; Friday 12:00pm to 9:00pm)

Expected Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 Range

Job Summary: CMI is looking for a new employee to join our Maintenance Team. In this role you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, cranes, skid steers, and forklifts in order to assist in a safe and productive work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain company trucks/trailers
