Job summary

Altruck International Truck Centres seeks a Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician, or a 2nd/3rd year apprentice under a valid Registered Training Agreement. You will perform repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks at our Kitchener location to ensure safe, reliable service for customers.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, good diagnostic skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in a related field (e.g. motive power/auto technology) an asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a licensed heavy-duty truck technician or equivalent experience in the industry.
  • Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician, or a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice working under a valid Registered Training Agreement with Skills Ontario Trades or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience.
  • Valid G class driver’s license with a good driving record. Z Endorsement an asset.
  • Must have necessary hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, safeties and repairs on heavy-duty trucks including diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Use manufacturer’s service manuals and technical data to repair and maintain vehicles.
  • Communicate with customers to explain work needed.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines and minimize downtime.
  • Attend company sponsored training classes and dealer specific training courses as scheduled by management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve processes and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

310T Truck and Coach Technician/Apprentice- Kitchener

Altruck International Truck Centres is seeking Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician, or 2nd +-3rd year apprentice under a valid Registered 310T Training Agreement with Skills Trade Ontario or equivalent to join our team at our Kitchener location. (48 Ardelt Avenue, Kitchener)

Pay:

Up to CA$55.50 per hour based on experience

Job Summary

As a 310T Truck and Coach Technician, or apprentice under a training agreement and supervision, you will be performing repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks ensure that they are in safe and reliable working condition. Requirements

  • Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
