Job summary

Canada Cartage is seeking a dependable 310T Truck & Coach Technician / HET or Level 3-4 Apprentice to join our Mississauga maintenance team. You will diagnose, repair and maintain fleet equipment and perform preventative maintenance to keep trucks operating safely.

The role requires own tools, a valid driver's license, and the ability to handle physically demanding work up to 120 lbs. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 310T / HET certification preferred; Level 3 or 4 Apprentice considered.
• Strong knowledge of truck repair and shop practices.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues using SRTs.
• Own tools required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
• Physically demanding work, including lifting up to 120 lbs.
• Comfortable with computer punch times and payroll.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete assigned repairs within industry-standard repair times.
• Stay current with new technologies and repair practices.

• Monday-Thursday | 4:30 AM-3:00 PM
• Monday-Thursday | 6:30 AM-5:00 PM
• Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM-1:30 AM
• 4 x 10-hour shifts

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining fleet equipment, completing preventative maintenance, and helping keep our trucks operating safely and efficiently.
