Job summary

Student Transportation of Canada is seeking a 310T Mechanic for our Port Hope location. 4th Year Apprentices will be considered. Mon-Fri, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, competitive wages and benefits offered.

Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of school buses, brake and safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws. Ongoing training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed 310T Mechanic or 4th Year Apprentice.
• Safety Inspection License.
• Experience with Fleet Management System is a plus.
• School bus experience is an asset.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Own hand tools.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Computer and diagnostic equipment skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong time management & communication skills.
• Background checks including references, drug/alcohol testing & criminal record check.

Job description

Student Transportation of Canada is currently seeking a 310T Mechanic for our Port Hope location; 4th Year Apprentices will also be considered for this role. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing company that offers competitive wages, professional growth and work-life balance.

The shift for this position is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Wage:

Up to $40.00 per hour

Qualifications
