Join to apply for the 310T Mechanic, Fleet Maintenance role at GFL Environmental Inc.

GFL is seeking a full-time, permanent 310T Mechanic based at the Iroquois, ON Facility. The company provides comprehensive operational and safety training.

Job Duties

1. Diagnose and repair operational issues with heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
2. Maintain and repair heavy diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated vehicles and equipment.
3. Complete reports, work orders, order parts, and perform administrative duties daily.
4. Plan and schedule repairs using M5 planner and procure necessary parts.
5. Review mechanical write-ups on equipment and coordinate repair schedules.
6. Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with safety regulations.
7. Use a variety of power and hand tools and equipment.
8. Maintain necessary tools for maintenance tasks on heavy/hydraulic equipment.

Requirements

1. High school diploma or GED; technical diploma preferred.
2. At least one year of experience as a 310T Mechanic.
3. Valid 310T License.
4. Computer literate with willingness to learn software systems.
5. Able to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
6. Experience with diagnostic software is a plus.
7. Compliant with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
8. Ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently, and maintain accurate records.
9. Ability to operate relevant vehicles and equipment.
10. Physical capability to perform all job aspects.
