Job summary

Midland Transport in Brampton is seeking a 310T Licensed Truck & Trailer Mechanic for night shift (Sunday to Wednesday). The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a modern facility with strong safety and training programs.

The ideal candidate has a 310T license and hands-on experience, with the ability to read schematics and diagnose diesel engines, brakes, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

  • Truck and Coach Technician 310T License.
  • Two or more years of relevant, hands-on experience post-certification is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of diesel engines, aftertreatment/electrical diagnostics & air brake systems; experience working on trailers is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks.
  • Complete routine maintenance and preventative service on engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, services, and repairs.
  • Assist in identifying required parts and supplies for repair.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Reporting nonconforming situations.
  • Other duties as assigned by the shop supervisor.

Midland Transport is currently looking for a 310T Licensed Truck & Trailer Mechanic at our garage in Brampton. The ideal candidates hold a 310T license and have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Shift: Sunday - Wednesday Night shifts

RESPONSIBILITIES
