Job summary

Midland Transport in Bathurst, NB is seeking a reliable Class 1 P&D Tractor Driver to support local pick-ups and deliveries. You will operate a tractor-trailer on scheduled routes, ensuring on-time, accurate, and professional service to customers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of safe tractor driving experience.
  • Class 1 (1) driver’s license.
  • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle freight as required.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer safely for local pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Perform daily route assignments, ensuring timely pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections as required by law.
  • Support operations by operating a straight truck if required.
  • Drive, operate equipment, and perform all tasks in accordance with safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
  • Use an electric or manual pallet jack as required to load, unload, or move freight.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Midland Transport is currently looking for a reliable and safety-focused Class 1 P&D Tractor Driver to join our team in Bathurst, NB and support our local pick‑up and delivery operations. In this role, you will operate a tractor‑trailer to complete scheduled local routes, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service to our customers. As operational needs require, you may also be responsible for operating a straight truck to complete local pick‑ups and deliveries.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate a Class 1 tractor‑trailer safely for local pick‑ups and deliveries
