Job summary

Midland is seeking a reliable driver to handle loading and unloading, verify delivery accuracy, and keep deliveries aligned with company procedures. You will maintain the vehicle in safe condition and follow traffic laws while delivering excellent customer service.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with overtime after 9 hours. Compensation includes competitive hourly rates, benefits, and advancement opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • High School or GED required.
  • Class 5 driver's license with minimum 2 years of safe commercial driving experience.
  • Clean driving record and criminal history.
  • Strong communication skills and reliability.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with proper equipment.
  • Safety-conscious with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established pickup and delivery procedures.
  • Accurately process daily pickup and delivery records.
  • Safely load and unload the Straight Truck to prevent package damage.
  • Maintain company equipment in accordance with operational standards.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment while following safety protocols and traffic laws.
  • Comply with safety regulations, company policies, and procedural guidelines.
  • Promptly report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or damages.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Role: The successful candidate will handle the loading and unloading of shipments, verify delivery accuracy, and ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with company procedures. In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle in a safe and clean operating condition and adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) (Overtime after 9 hours)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean driver's abstract and criminal search

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift to 75 lbs. using the proper equipment
  • Excellent work ethic and reliability
