We are hiring a 310-T Fleet Technician for our Canadian Cash Logistics Fleet & Diesel business. The position will be based in our Mississauga Branch.

Your responsibilities

1. Coordinate with vendors to resolve accident and maintenance issues
2. Coordinate with operations leadership to ensure vehicle availability over 90%
3. Ensure that fleet vehicles are properly maintained and that all repairs are tracked in accordance with our accepted program and/or process(s)
4. Work with operations leadership and vendors to ensure that assets meet regulatory inspection/certification requirements, CVI and PM schedules
5. Maintain and order stock parts as needed
6. Maintain overall functionality, cleanliness, and safety of the garage
7. Present opportunities to reduce Repair & Maintenance costs and the overall cost of asset operation

What we are looking for

1. Required: Possession of a valid 310-T license and/or 310-S license
2. Must be able to work with and in an armed and unionized environment
3. Must have a valid full G driver’s license
4. Minimum 5 years experience in fleet maintenance
5. Knowledge of equipment maintenance
6. Thorough understanding of transport maintenance and industry in general
7. Strong technical skills in software applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word
8. Strong Electrical and Diagnostic scan tool knowledge
9. Strong team player
10. Must be able to balance multiple tasks and prioritize on a daily basis
11. Flexible working hours
12. Must be comfortable with a fast-paced environment
13. Ability to manage a team of technicians
