Main Responsibilities

• Receive work orders and gather necessary tools.
• Transport vehicles to service bays via driving, towing, or pushing.
• Inspect and diagnose issues with various airport vehicles such as tugs, forklifts, and fuel trucks.
• Perform repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical systems.
• Order and install replacement parts, rebuild assemblies as needed.
• Consult with supervisors for complex repairs and parts approval.
• Complete work orders and update status reports.
• Maintain high safety standards and adhere to all regulations.
• Additional minor repairs like changing batteries, tires, and oil.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certified Mechanic with 310T certification and at least 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty diesel and automotive equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Own tools and safe operation skills.
• Ability to interpret safety and maintenance documentation.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain security clearances.

Additional Information

• This is a unionized position.
• Starting rate: $44.50/hour.

Shift and Schedule

• Weekends and holidays as needed.
• Available shifts: AM, PM, Midnight.
