Job summary

Fountain Tire Timmins is seeking a skilled 310s Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, complete approved service, and test systems to manufacturer specs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive experience required.
• 310s status in the Automotive Service Technician trade.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle.
• Performing repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles.
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications.
• Performing scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed and future repair requirements.

You will get to:

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

• 310s status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
• 5+ years of automotive experience required
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
• The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
