Job summary

Northern Roads Auto Group in Mississauga is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires a 310S license and a valid G license, with Kia or EV experience considered an asset.

You will perform inspections, routine maintenance, and warranty work, document repairs, and stay current with automotive technologies. This position offers a collaborative team environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a 310S license.
• Valid G driver's license with clean record.
• Able to lift 85 lbs.
• Kia experience and/or EV experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose source of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems for repair and maintenance.
• Determine if additional safety or service work is needed through examinations.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, brake inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, diagnostics, and services.
• Ensure vehicles qualify for warranty prior to warranty repairs.
• Perform road tests following safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
• Provide thorough information to service and parts teams.
• Keep workspace clean, organized and hazard-free.
• Stay up-to-date with automotive tech through continuous learning.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $45-49 flat rate

You’ll love your position as an Automotive Technician:

• Diagnose the source of malfunctions and performing repairs.
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
• Determine if additional safety or service work is required through comprehensive examinations.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and brake inspections in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, and services performed using digital systems or paper-based documentation as required.
• Ensure all vehicles qualify for warranty prior to performing warranty repairs.
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
• Provide thorough information to the service and parts teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free workspace.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry advancements through continuous learning.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
• High School Diploma or equivalency.
