Job summary

PTW Energy Services is seeking electrical apprentices (all levels) to join our expansion project. You will assist in building and installing trays, pulling cables, terminating, and turnover, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires flexibility for shift work, weekends, and OT, and reading electrical drawings and codes is essential. A valid driver’s license is needed, with comprehensive safety training provided.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electricians with provincial regulatory body.
• Able to read electrical drawings, schematics and P&IDs.
• Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
• Valid driver’s license and strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation of industrial electrical systems.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes.
• Install motors, PLCs, control circuits, conduit, wiring, and panels.
• Support three-phase systems and motor terminations.
• Follow Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), company procedures and OHS safety standards.

Role Summary:

We are seeking electrical apprentices (all Levels) to join our team on an expansion project. Duties will include building/installing tray, pulling cables, terminating and turnover. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation of industrial electrical systems
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes
• Install motors, PLCs, control circuits, conduit, wiring, and panels
• Support three-phase systems and motor terminations
• Follow Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), company procedures, and OHS safety standards
• Other duties as required

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Journeyman Electricians with provincial regulatory body
• Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
• Fall Protection, Standard First Aid &CSTS 2020
• Able to read electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
• Strong safety focus and good communication skills
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranges from $26.65 - $36.55 and will commensurate with experience and certification
• LOA $190/ Travel $400 / Shift 10hrs per day - 8 reg 2 OT - 5 days on 2 off
