PTW Energy Services seeks Journeyman Electricians and 3rd/4th Year Apprentices for a range of commercial, residential, and solar projects in Regina, Saskatchewan. Safety and quality are paramount as you contribute to install, maintain, and commission electrical systems with a strong team.

Qualifications

• Registered Journeyperson Electrician with active standing.
• 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice with provincial registration.
• Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and relevant safety standards.
• Experience in commercial, residential, and/or solar installations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyperson Electricians with installation, maintenance and commissioning of electrical systems in commercial, residential and solar projects.
• Install conduit, cable tray, wiring, lighting, panels and related components.
• Support PV system installation including racking and inverters.
• Read blueprints and electrical drawings; perform terminations and testing as directed.
• Maintain safety, quality and compliance with CEC and company procedures.

We are seeking Journeymen Electricians and Apprentices 3rd and 4th Year to join our team on a variety of commercial, residential, and solar construction projects in REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN. The Electrical Apprentice will have relevant commercial, and or residential experience and be committed to delivering safe, high-quality work that meets and exceeds client expectations. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a positive work ethic, and a steadfast commitment to safety and quality on every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Journeyperson Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of commercial, residential, and solar electrical systems.
• Install conduit, cable tray, wiring, electrical devices, lighting systems, panels, and associated equipment.
• Support the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including racking, modules, inverters, and related electrical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Perform equipment terminations, testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks as directed.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), company procedures, and applicable safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Work effectively with team members, clients, and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Registered Journeyperson Electrician in good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory body, or
• Registered 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice with the applicable provincial regulatory body
• Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
• Experience in commercial, residential, and/or solar electrical installations is considered an asset
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Fall Protection, Standard First Aid/CPR, and AWP/EWPcertifications are preferred but not required
• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as required to meet project schedules
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including new construction sites, finished residential homes, commercial buildings, outdoor conditions, and at heights when required
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision when needed

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $31.88- $42.50, commensurate with experience and certification
• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
