Job summary

PTW Energy Services Ltd. is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support a variety of small industrial construction projects. This role operates on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation with FIFO travel from Calgary or Edmonton, or a travel allowance for those commuting to Conklin, AB.

You will install electrical systems, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements. A Red Seal is preferred and a minimum of 3 years' experience is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work.
• H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP/EMP, Confined Space, ESTS, CSTS, First Aid.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends.
• Ability to work in heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $47.30 - $54.35, commensurate with experience and certification
• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
