Job summary

North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) in Iroquois Falls seeks an Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing Worker to deliver a broad spectrum of children’s services, including prevention and protection, risk assessments, and safeguarding plans. Qualifications

• An MSW or BSW is preferred (a College Diploma in Social Services may be considered along with other relevant university degrees or diplomas deemed suitable by the Executive Director)
• Experience working with children, youth and families is considered an asset
• Able to interpret and apply relevant legislative requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours as required
• Must be willing to travel as required
• Bilingualism (English/French) is required
• Candidates must possess a minimum G2 driver’s license at the time of application and be willing to obtain a valid G Class driver’s license as a condition of employment or already possess a valid G Class driver’s license and have access to their own vehicle
