Job summary

North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services (NEOFACS) in Timmins is seeking a Protection Support Worker to join the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team. You will provide preventative and protective intervention services to individuals, children and families, including children in the agency's care and approved placements.

The role requires a college diploma in human services, flexible hours, valid G-class license or access to a vehicle, ability to travel, and bilingualism

Qualifications

• College diploma in human services required (or equivalent).
• Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Candidates must possess a minimum G2 driver’s license and be willing to obtain/possess a G class license with vehicle access.

PROTECTION SUPPORT WORKER

Twelve (12) Month Full-time Contract Position in Timmins

As a member of the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team, the Protection Support Worker will provide preventative and protective intervention services to individuals, children and families. Services will be provided to and on behalf of children who are in the care of the Agency’s child protection services and approved placements.
