Job summary

South Bow is seeking a Control Center Operator to monitor, control, and optimize pipeline operations from a 24/7 control center. You will analyze alarms, responses to abnormal conditions, and coordinate with field operations and schedulers to ensure safe and reliable energy transport.

The role requires strong operational knowledge, excellent decision-making, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in a high-consequence environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–7 years of progressive pipeline/ control room operations experience.
• Competency across multiple Areas of Responsibility.
• Strong understanding of SCADA/control room systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control pipeline systems across Areas of Responsibility using SCADA.
• Execute operating activities per procedures, limits, and safety standards.
• Analyze planned and unplanned changes to minimize impacts and restore operations.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with field ops, carriers, terminals, schedulers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and records; support audits and training.
