Job summary

Canadian Natural Resources Limited is seeking a Pipeline Control Centre Operator in Calgary. The role focuses on safe and efficient operation of two heavy oil pipelines controlled by a SCADA system, with a 7 on/7 off shift pattern and initial training period flexibility.

The candidate should have 5+ years in oil and gas operations, a Grade 12 diploma, and a strong understanding of pipeline operations, hydraulics and blending. Proficiency with SCADA/HMI and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or GED required. Post-secondary certificate is an asset.
• Strong pipeline operations knowledge including flow, hydraulics and blending processes.

Responsibilities

• Take command of pipeline operations to move product safely and efficiently.
• Lead real-time control of pumping, blending and terminal operations.
• Monitor system integrity with SCADA/HMI and respond to alarms.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and operational reliability through data monitoring.
