Harrow College is seeking an Attendance Co-ordinator to manage attendance at the Harrow-on-the-Hill Campus. The role covers 36 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, during term times, with responsibilities to monitor punctuality and progress and liaise with students, parents and staff.

Location: Harrow-on-the-Hill Campus Salary: £24,478 to £27,131 Actual salary for 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year to cover term times The postholder will be required to start at 8.45am, Monday to Friday Post Type: Full Time Term Time Release Date: Thursday 24 September 2026 Closing Date: Wednesday 07 October 2026 Interview Date: To be confirmed Reference: 2199

We are seeking a pro‑active and well‑organised individual to fill this rewarding role based within our School of Business, Sport, Hair and Beauty. You would work closely with students, their parents, Lecturers and other College staff, working in a proactive way to ensure students attend College regularly and achieve their learning goals.

Responsibilities include identifying and acting immediately on problems relating to student attendance, punctuality and progress to ensure that students maintain an excellent attendance record. You would take a pro‑active role, including engaging ‘at risk’ learners in person and over the telephone. You would also maintain College systems, produce reports on different groups, discuss students’ progress with teaching staff and arrange student disciplinary meetings regarding attendance.

We are seeking a candidate administrative experience in a busy environment with good IT skills; experience of the education sector would be an advantage. You should also have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, and enthusiasm for working with young people.

Please note, we are not able to offer sponsorship for this role.

Please note: for individuals who start a term time only role after 1st September, the salary will be pro-rated from the start date to the end of this academic year (31st August 2027). This ensures that the correct entitlement to pay and holiday pay relative to the portion of the year worked. This will be paid in equal monthly instalments until 31 August. The salary will revert to the normal arrangements as stated in the advert at the start of the following academic year.
