Job summary

Evergreen School Division invites applications for a part-time temporary Educational Assistant position at Winnipeg Beach School. The role is 0.75 hours per day (8:15am–9:00am) with responsibilities across academic, social, and behavioral support for students.

The successful candidate will assist with communication and speech-language activities, support individualized programs, supervise daily routines, and help with library duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Para Educator Certificate desired
• Relevant training and experience
• Course work in behavior management
• Demonstrable computer/technology skills

Responsibilities

• Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally
• Assisting with communication and speech-language activities
• Supporting individualized student programming
• Assisting with supervision and daily routines
• Assisting with library support duties, including acquisitions, cataloguing, assisting students and staff, book fairs, etc.
