Job summary

RONA affiliated dealer in Canada is seeking a motivated Receiving and Handling team member. You will help ensure smooth inventory flow, receive deliveries, and prepare products for display in store aisles. Attention to detail and safe operation of equipment are essential.

This role supports community-focused home improvement efforts across the Laurentides region, with hands-on responsibilities and a collaborative store team. Physical tasks and reliability are valued traits for success.

Qualifications

• Experience operating store equipment (forklift, scanner, etc.).
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Good physical condition and ability to handle loading/unloading tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow to shelves.
• Sort and unpack product; transport to appropriate areas using equipment.
• Schedule deliveries and ensure space for incoming product; verify accuracy of received goods.
• Complete paperwork with accuracy; perform price changes and merchandising as needed.
• Locate and relocate merchandise; conduct inventory counts; assist in store operations.

Become a key member of our Receiving and Handling team! Turn every incoming delivery into a success by ensuring smooth and accurate product flow. Your attention to detail will make all the difference.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Computer entry of orders receptions
• Price change and display
• Locate and relocate the merchandise
• Inventory count
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
• Good physical condition is an asset
