Job summary

RONA is seeking a Night Associate for the Receiving and Handling team in Kingston. This full-time night position runs from 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM and involves receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining accurate inventory.

You will operate store equipment, ensure safety, and support smooth store operations with attention to detail on every delivery. RONA offers diverse benefits and training to employees.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
