K̓wsaltktnéws ne Secwepemcúl’ecw School District No. 83 seeks a temporary Grade 7/8 Math/Science and Explorations teacher for Eagle River Secondary in British Columbia. The assignment runs Nov 9, 2026 through Jun 30, 2027 or until the teacher returns to full contract, whichever comes first.

You will teach Core Grade 7/8 Math/Science, PE 9-12, Leadership and Careers 8 and an elective to be determined, working with colleagues to create engaging, standards-aligned lessons and activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Education; Secondary emphasis preferred.
• Valid BC teaching certificate and current Teacher Regulation Branch membership.

This is a temporary assignment effective November 9, 2026 to June 30, 2027 or to return of teacher to full contractual whichever comes first.

This assignment consists of teaching Core Grade 7/8 Math/Science, PE 9-12, Leadership and Careers 8 and an elective to be determined.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Education (Secondary emphasis preferred);
• Valid BC teaching certificate and current membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch.

• academic credentials and/or experience in teaching grade 7/8;
• a working knowledge of the current curriculum for grade 7/8;
• demonstrated successful experience teaching at the Middle/Secondary level;
