We're looking for a Senior ABAP Cloud Developer who understands that the future of SAP is not in modifying standard code, but in building robust, cloud-native extensions using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), CDS Views, and SAP BTP. If you're ready to leave SE80 behind and embrace Eclipse / ADT, clean core architecture, and API-first development, you'll fit right in.

Your mission is to architect and deliver modern SAP solutions that power our financial operations, payment flows, and compliance reporting. You will champion the Clean Core approach, building upgrade-safe extensions that leverage SAP's latest cloud technologies.

Your work will directly shape the reliability, scalability, and intelligence of COMO's financial ecosystem—using ABAP RAP for transactional processing, CDS Views for high-performance data modeling, and SAP HANA for database-level optimization. You'll also leverage AI-assisted development practices to accelerate delivery and maintain code quality.

Design and develop end-to-end applications using the ABAP RAP model (Managed and Unmanaged scenarios), including behavior definitions, validations, determinations, and actions.

Build and optimize CDS View Entities across interface, projection, and consumption layers with proper annotations and authorization via DCL.

Architect solutions that strictly adhere to Clean Core principles, utilizing released APIs, side-by-side extensibility on SAP BTP, and Key User Extensibility to keep systems upgrade-safe.

Develop high-performance data processing using SQLScript and AMDP, pushing logic to the SAP HANA database layer where appropriate.

Expose and consume OData services (V2 and V4), integrating SAP with external fintech platforms using SAP Integration Suite.

Conduct code reviews, enforce static code analysis (ATC), and write ABAP Unit tests to ensure financial-grade reliability and security.

Apply AI tools in development workflows to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, and optimization.

Mentor mid-level developers in the transition from classical ABAP to modern ABAP OO and Cloud methodologies.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with deep expertise in ABAP Objects (OO design, interfaces, exceptions, clean code practices).
• Proven hands-on experience with ABAP RAP (Behavior Definitions, Service Bindings, EML, transactional processing).
• Expert-level knowledge of CDS Views including associations, annotations, and layered view design.
• Experience with SAP BTP for building extensions and services that support clean core architecture.
• Strong SAP HANA knowledge: SQLScript, AMDP, performance optimization, and database-level troubleshooting.
• Experience with OData V2 and V4 service development and consumption.
• Proficiency with Eclipse ADT (ABAP Development Tools) and Git-based version control (abapGit).
• Professional proficiency in English for technical documentation and international collaboration.

• SAP S / 4HANA implementation or migration experience.
• SAP Fiori development experience (Fiori Elements, UI5, UI annotations strategy).
• Knowledge of SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model for polyglot development.
• Experience with BTP services: Integration Suite, Event Mesh, Workflow Management, or Build Process Automation.
• Fintech, banking, or high-volume transaction environment background.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and practices.
