About the role

Join Essential Home as an Indirect Procurement Manager for Commercial functions and take ownership of a high-impact portfolio within our Indirect Procurement function across LATAM.

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leading procurement activities across the LATAM region, partnering closely with business to unlock and create value.

The Procurement Manager will serve as the primary commercial point of contact for the regional business, ensuring local projects are executed effectively and global initiatives are successfully implemented, while driving cost optimization, productivity, and strategic synergies.

You will lead sourcing initiatives that directly influence our commercial operations, drive supplier performance, and deliver value across the region.

Your responsibilities
  • Strategic Procurement : Manage a significant spend portfolio within Indirect Commercial categories (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Professional Services), developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost efficiency, innovation, and supplier value.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Partner with budget owners and cross-functional teams to understand business needs, define project scopes, and ensure procurement initiatives support broader commercial objectives.
  • Sourcing & Contracting Excellence : Lead regional sourcing activities, including e-tenders, supplier selection, and complex contract negotiations, ensuring compliance and value delivery.
  • Supplier Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, driving performance against contractual obligations and SLAs, and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Governance & Risk Management : Ensure procurement activities adhere to internal policies and external regulations, managing risks and supporting audit readiness.
The experience we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering;
  • Solid background in procurement, especially within indirect categories in a regional / global context;
  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic procurement with tangible results;
  • Practiced in steering complex sourcing activities and high-level contract negotiations with suppliers;
  • Keen negotiation skills coupled with the ability to manage contracts and suppliers effectively;
  • Proficient in developing comprehensive knowledge of advanced procurement and sourcing tactics;
  • Analytical approach, able to evaluate market trends to aid in strategic decisions;
  • Self-driven with autonomy to lead projects and propose decisions with the business;
  • Capable of collaborating effectively with Legal departments to ensure contracts are beneficial and secure;
  • Practical experience in leading and managing risk opportunities, particularly those related to currency;
  • Expertise in navigating various internal interests, with comprehensive knowledge in procurement and complex legal contracts;
  • Prior exposure in overseeing diverse geographical areas;
  • Solid understanding of market dynamics to proactively manage sourcing and contracting activities;
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working and leading cross-functional teams.
