CRANE Cryogenics in Brazil, Indiana seeks a Weld Coordinator to join the Production Team. You will facilitate all production in the cell, stage raw materials for two to four welders, maximize weld time, and ensure smooth workflow according to the production schedule.

The role includes inspecting products during and after production to ensure drawings and quality standards are met, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail, following written instructions, and teamwork.

Qualificações

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
  • Ability to conform to safety practices and maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform lifting, bending, twisting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Move raw material and parts to and from welders, leak check technicians, braiders, and wrappers.
  • Have at least one job prepared for each welder to start when finished with the current job.
  • Work with welders to determine proper sequence of assembly / welding for each IO.
  • Identify potential problems and errors with BOMs or Ios, and communicate with Zone Leader or Production Supervisor for prompt resolution.
  • Contact Zone Leader for rework instruction as necessary.
  • Feed inners into outers; feed outers into spiral wrap after leak check and stretch.
  • While a welder is occupied, prepare the next job to be welded.
  • Keep welders stocked with all needed supplies.
  • Hand wrap areas required during final weld.
  • Inspect all products per Finished Goods Inspection Procedure on drawing.
  • Maintain cell dashboard.
  • Move finished products to the next operation area.
  • Other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Zone Leader.

We are currently seeking a Weld Coordinator to join our Production Team.

As a Weld Coordinator, you will perform a variety of job responsibilities, participating in exciting projects at the forefront of cryogenic innovation! The Weld Coordinator facilitates all production in the cell, staging raw materials and parts for two to four welders to maximize weld time and ensure smooth workflow in accordance with the production schedule. The Welding Coordinator also inspects products during and after the production process to ensure they comply with the provided drawings and meet quality standards.

To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Excellent attendance habits and the desire to work as a team are a must. Coming to work each day with a great work ethic and willingness to learn, you'll grow the skills necessary to succeed as a member of our Production Team.
