CRANE Cryogenics is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our Production Team in Brazil, Indiana. You will weld using thin gauge stainless steel and aluminum, reading blueprints and following WPS to ensure parts meet dimensional specs and cosmetic standards.

You must lift up to 50 lbs, follow safety procedures, and contribute to process improvements. Strong attendance, teamwork, and a good work ethic are essential to grow within the Cryogenics division.

Qualificações

  • Experience reading blueprints (welds must meet specs and be cosmetically acceptable).
  • Experience welding thin gauge stainless steel and aluminum.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety rules.
  • Must follow Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) on certified jobs.

Responsabilidades

  • Weld thin gauge stainless steel and aluminum per WPS and specs.
  • Sharpen tungsten and maintain welding equipment.
  • Follow welding requirements in the Manufacturing Manual.
  • Notify supervisor or Weld Coordinator if rework is needed.
  • Adhere to safety rules and contribute to cost improvements.
  • Perform all other duties as directed by supervisor.

As a TIG Welder you will participate in exciting projects at the forefront of cryogenic innovation! You will be accountable for all dimensions you create on any product ensuring that all welds meet appropriate specifications, are cosmetically acceptable, and meet good craftsmanship standards. To thrive in this role, you'll need strong math skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to lift 50lbs. and follow written procedures and safety practices. Excellent attendance habits, a great work ethic, and the desire to work as a team are a must. Coming to work each day eager to learn, you'll grow the skills necessary to advance within the Production Team.

Qualifications
  • Experience with thin gauge stainless steel and aluminum
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • The ability to lift, bend, twist, and stoop
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately manufacture from blueprints (welds must meet dimensional specifications and be cosmetically acceptable)
  • The ability to follow welding requirements on certified welding jobs and follow procedures
Responsibilities Include
  • Wrapping insulation on localized area of product
  • Sharpening of own tungsten
  • Following Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) on all certified welding jobs
  • Following welding requirements as specified in the Manufacturing Manual
  • Contacting supervision or Weld Coordinator when rework is required so the applicable rework documents can be completed
  • Following all applicable safety rules and regulations
  • Recommending and helping to implement method improvements and cost reductions.
  • All other duties as directed by supervisor

This is a production position located in Brazil, Indiana.
