Staffking Pte Ltd seeks a vision systems engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize machine-vision applications for measurement, inspection and component detection.

You will configure vision hardware/software, work with OpenCV, HALCON, and Cognex VisionPro, and provide field support. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering and 2+ years in vision are required, with travel as needed.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in vision applications.
• Knowledge of vision/optical inspection systems preferred.
• Experience in C++, C#, or Python.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232 and camera interfaces.
• Willing to travel if required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and improve vision applications for measurement, defect inspection and component detection.
• Select, procure, install, and maintain vision equipment (PCs, cameras, lighting).
• Set up and configure vision systems (host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, lighting, interfaces).
• Work with vision software/libraries (OpenCV, HALCON, Cognex VisionPro).
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to field service engineers and customers.
• Define performance requirements, prepare technical docs, conduct user training.
• Research and evaluate new vision technologies for projects.

Job Scope:

• Develop, maintain, and improve vision applications such as measurement, defect inspection, and component detection.
• Select, procure, install, and maintain vision equipment such as PCs, cameras, and lighting based on project requirements.
• Set up and configure vision systems, including host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, lighting, motion control, and interfaces.
• Work with vision software and libraries such as HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, and Cognex VisionPro.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field service engineers and customers.
• Define vision system performance requirements, prepare technical documents, and conduct user training.
• Research and evaluate new vision technologies and implement suitable solutions for projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification,
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vision applications.
• Knowledge of vision and optical inspection systems is preferred.
• Experience in programming languages related to vision applications, such as C++, C#, or Python.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and camera interfaces
• Willing to travel if required.
