MNC Industrial Automation Company in Woodlands is seeking a vision engineer to develop, analyze, and maintain vision applications such as measurement and defect inspection. You will configure vision systems and interfaces to achieve optimal performance.

You will work with libraries like HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro; provide field service support; evaluate system specs and prepare technical docs; explore new vision technologies and implement them.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with vision applications.
• Hands-on experience with vision libraries such as HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, analyze, and maintain vision applications (measurement, defect inspection, presence detection).
• Select, procure, install, and maintain vision hardware (PCs, cameras, lighting).
• Configure vision systems and interfaces for optimal performance.
• Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
• Evaluate performance specs and prepare technical documentation and training.
• Explore new vision technologies and apply them to projects.
• Assist in vision-related project planning and deployment.

Job Scope

• Develop, analyze, and maintain various vision applications, including measurement, defect inspection, component presence detection, and more.
• Make decisions on the selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance of vision-related components such as PCs, cameras, and lighting based on application requirements.
• Configure vision systems, including host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, and interfaces, to achieve optimal system performance.
• Possess hands-on experience with vision software libraries/frameworks such as HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro.
• Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
• Evaluate and establish vision system performance specifications, as well as prepare technical documentation and conduct training.
• Explore new vision technologies and implement them in relevant projects.

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree / Master in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or related field
• 2 - 4 years of relevant experiences in vision applications
• Possess hands-on experience with vision software libraries/frameworks such as HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro.
