WGT EHR Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Principal Engineer to develop industrial automation software in a Windows environment. You will design, implement and optimize solutions involving motion control cards, distributed I/O, sensors and actuators.

You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers to translate system needs into robust software, perform rigorous testing and code reviews, and own key technical decisions for high-performance automation projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial automation software development.
• Strong programming experience in C++, C# and WPF, with hands-on hardware integration.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Principal Engineer to develop and enhance software solutions for industrial automation systems. You will work on machine control, hardware integration and Windows-based applications, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver reliable and high-performance automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and troubleshoot industrial automation software using C++, C# and WPF.

• Develop and integrate machine functionalities involving motion control cards, distributed I/O systems, sensors and actuators.

• Implement reliable communication between software and hardware components and optimise application performance.

• Apply multithreading, synchronization and memory management techniques to develop robust and efficient applications.

• Collaborate closely with electrical and mechanical engineers to translate system requirements into effective software solutions.

• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting and software optimisation while ensuring high standards of code quality, reliability and maintainability.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial automation software development.

• Strong programming experience in C++, C# and WPF.

• Hands-on experience with motion control cards and distributed I/O systems.

• Strong understanding of Windows API, multithreading, synchronization, memory management and C++ Standard Library/templates.

• Experience with Windows GDI/GDI+ or Borland/Embarcadero C++ Builder VCL will be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
