PayJoy is seeking a Validation Support Supervisor in São Paulo to lead an 8-person team and elevate KYC review processes across markets. You will coach staff, conduct risk assessments, verify document authenticity, and drive continuous improvement in workflows and reports.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a leadership role, strong communication, data-driven decision making, and proficiency in Excel; SQL is a plus. Fluency in English is a big plus.

This role

We are looking to hire an awesome Validation Support Supervisor to build a strong team and shape staff behaviors to accomplish desired results. You will play a collaborative role in growing, implementing and supervising processes. A successful candidate for the role of Validation Support Supervisor should possess strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with his team and different teams across multiple countries. They must have a deep understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer) documents review principles, the ability to analyze diverse fraud vectors and ensure to adapt to market-specific needs. The candidate should also demonstrate cultural sensitivity, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to receive and act on constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement and maintain high accuracy on review levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach the internal staff (8 agents).

• Conduct risk and potential fraud assessments of new and existing players at different stages.

• Ensure the accurate handling and verification of KYC (Know Your Customer) documents’ authenticity and customer’s registration.

• Evaluate and escape cases to relevant departments as needed.

• Participate in workflow and procedural improvements.

• Build reports on key metrics and often perform samples of the team’s performance.

• Headcount planning and allocation.

• Be open and fully willing to learn about financial impacts and running queries in our reports.

• Detect/suggest improvements in our tools in order to optimize the team’s performance and make their lives easier.

Requirements

• Partially or completed technical or university studies in related areas such as Business Administration, Communications, or similar fields.

• 2-3 years of experience in a leadership position.

• High Sense of Urgency.

• Preferably working with mobile, consumer electronics, or financial products.

• Excel (Intermediate-Advanced).

• Desirable SQL.

• Data driven decision making.

• Strong communication, analytical skills and critical thinking.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Microsoft Office knowledge (intermediate mandatory).

• Strong people skills.

• Outstanding organizational skills.

• English fluency is a BIG plus.
