Job Description

GM Financial International Operations conducts business in Latin America and China. International Operations offers a wide range of wholesale and retail automotive financing products to dealers and their customers. The strength of the international business lies in its ability to tailor its products to meet unique dealer needs, consumer preferences, and national requirements in local markets. Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.

The Training Delivery Specialist is responsible for implementing and facilitating onsite and virtual training. Responsibilities include determining training needs, acting as a resource for employees, delivering multi-functional courses, and supporting a customer-focused, experience-driven learning culture across GM Financial International Operations (GMF IO). This role contributes to standardizing and aligning the GMF IO vision to improve customer experiences by providing employees with operational knowledge and ongoing learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide quality learner experiences through facilitation in classrooms, webinars, and workplace settings.
  2. Collaborate with local and remote trainers as part of a team.
  3. Work with interdisciplinary teams, including employees, management, SMEs, and stakeholders, to support IO operations.
  4. Gather training requests and identify needs based on performance gaps.
  5. Assess audience traits to tailor learning solutions.
  6. Evaluate courses to recommend the best options for employee needs.
  7. Analyze training evaluations to measure effectiveness and business impact.
  8. Identify opportunities for improvement using data analytics and reporting.
  9. Utilize adult learning methodologies to deliver courses in key functional areas, roles, and initiatives.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in training.
  11. Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including booking rooms, printing materials, and ordering catering.
  12. Participate in course design and delivery as needed.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of all information.
  14. Travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum), preferably in Learning Development or Education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in classroom and/or webinar facilitation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Oracle LMS, Microsoft Teams, Power BI.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • Knowledge of ADDIE, Instructional Systems Design, Adult Learning Principles, and Learning Styles.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and relationship-building abilities.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Financial Services and operational roles.
  • Experience working with multicultural, multi-country teams.
  • Project management skills.
