Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering processes across renovation and A&A projects. You will interpret drawings, measure quantities, prepare BOQs, and compile tender documentation for submission.

The role requires 1–3 years of QS experience, knowledge of local contract forms, and strong MS Office skills. We offer a competitive salary and a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Good knowledge of local forms of contract, such as PSSCOC and SIA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, measurement, and tender processes.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret contract drawings, specifications, and tender documents.




• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ).




• Review tender requirements and raise Requests for Information (RFI) and clarification where necessary.




• Source and liaise with suitable subcontractors and suppliers.




• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.




• Prepare detailed tender cost build-ups and pricing.




• Prepare tender proposals and supporting documents for management review.




• Attend site briefings and tender briefings to gather project information and requirements.




• Compile and coordinate all required documents for tender submissions.




• Ensure tender submissions are accurate and completed within the stipulated deadlines.




• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirement

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.




• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, particularly in renovation and Addition & Alteration (A&A) works.




• Good knowledge of local forms of contract, such as PSSCOC and SIA.




• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.




• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, measurement, and tender processes.

About the role

Support the Tender Team by interpreting contract drawings, measurement of quantities, preparing bill of quantities, interpretation of specifications and to request for information and clarification. Source for sub-contractors and suppliers, request for quotations, build-up tender base cost and prepare tender proposal for management review. Attend site briefing to compile all documents required for tender submission.
