Globant is seeking a Tech Project Manager in São Paulo to lead end-to-end IT projects and software delivery streams for financial services accounts. You will govern timelines, budgets, and scope while coordinating with Architecture, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Strong experience in IT consulting, client-facing engagements, and change control is essential. Fluent English and a 4-day-a-week on-site presence are needed to collaborate with LATAM and international

Qualificações

• Proven experience leading end-to-end IT projects and software delivery streams.
• Experience in IT consulting environments, managing client-facing engagements, project profitability, burn-rate oversight, and Change Control/Requests in Fixed-Price and T&M contracts.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), technical dependencies, and working closely with Architecture, DevOps, and Engineering teams.
• Domain knowledge or familiarity with the financial services, payments ecosystem, or payment acceptance industry is a strong plus.
• Ability to track delivery and quality metrics, manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and lead formal executive steering committee meetings.
• Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills, acting as the strategic focal point between client leadership and technical delivery teams.
• Fluent English level (B2 Upper-Intermediate or C1 Advanced) for daily communication with global LATAM and international stakeholders.
• Availability for a 4-day-a-week on-site presence at the office in São Paulo.

This role is key to ensuring the successful execution of technology projects and workstreams for our financial services accounts, translating complex client goals into actionable delivery plans while maintaining strict governance over timelines, budgets, and scope.

What will help you succeed:

Proven experience leading end-to-end IT projects and software delivery streams, combining predictive/traditional governance (PMBOK, Waterfall) with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

Experience in IT consulting environments, managing client-facing engagements, project profitability, burn-rate oversight, and Change Control/Requests in Fixed-Price and T&M contracts.

Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), technical dependencies, and working closely with Architecture, DevOps, and Engineering teams.

Domain knowledge or familiarity with the financial services, payments ecosystem, or payment acceptance industry is a strong plus.
