Globant is hiring a Java Developer Expert-Level in São Paulo to help create digital products and drive transformation for enterprise partners. You will work with Java as the main language, leveraging Spring, REST APIs, and modern DevOps practices in an agile environment.

This role emphasizes high-quality code, unit testing with JUnit/Mockito, and familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, and SQL-based data modeling. Hybrid onsite options are available to support collaboration.

Qualificações

• Advanced English required.
• Hands-on software development with Java (latest versions).
• Experience with Lambdas and Streams is a plus.
• Knowledge of relational DBs, SQL, and ORM technologies (Hibernate, JPA, MyBatis).
• Experience in Spring framework and REST API development.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo).
• Cloud technologies and platforms experience is beneficial.
• Unit testing with JUnit/Mockito and knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes is valued.

What will help you succeed:

• Advanced English
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience working with the last versions of Java as the main programming language and familiarity using functionalities like Lambdas and Java Streams.
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (e.g. ,JPA2, Hibernate, MyBatis).
• Experience in developing applications using Spring frameworks.
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery development processes using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms.
• Experience writing unit tests using JUnit, Mockito.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Experience with other things not listed above would be valuable, like: Data modeling, Docker, Kubernetes, JSF, Messaging [Kafka, RabbitMQ, PubSub. etc], NoSQL, Agile methodology and Clean code.
