We are seeking a highly driven Tax Manager with a strong background in direct and indirect tax, transfer pricing, and team management. The ideal candidate will come from a Big 4 accounting firm or a reputable law firm and hold both a law degree and an accounting qualification. This individual will lead key tax operations and collaborate closely with cross-functional global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage both direct and indirect tax matters, including transfer pricing issues and their business implications.
• Partner with global tax team members to shape and execute tax strategies.
• Develop a deep understanding of business models to deliver practical tax solutions.
• Serve as the primary liaison with local tax authorities and external tax advisors in Brazil.
• Oversee tax compliance, tax accounting, and DIMP filings for all Brazilian entities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and manage external advisors on tax-related projects.
• Monitor local and international tax legislative developments and evaluate business impact.
• Conduct tax research and provide recommendations for complex tax issues.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing tax team locally.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant tax experience (Big 4, law firm, or multinational in-house tax department).
• Proven team management experience.
• Holds both a law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent) and an accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in high-performance environments with a strong work ethic.
• Language: Advanced Portuguese or English (mandatory); Chinese is a plus.
