JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for a highly motivated Tax Manager to support tax business partnering across specified markets.

Why This Role Matters: Your role ensures we meet financial goals, comply with regulations, and optimize taxes while leveraging technology. You will provide in-market/regional tax advice, oversee compliance and reporting, respond to tax authority challenges, and ensure the business optimizes its tax position within legal frameworks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure adherence to global tax strategies, policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Advise on tax implications of new initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and contracts.
• Manage in-market tax audits and disputes, working with external advisors and central tax teams.
• Oversee timely and accurate tax filings, review, and sign-offs, collaborating with shared services.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks, maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise management on impacts and mitigation strategies.
• Contribute local insights into enterprise-wide systems design decisions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Experiences & Qualifications:

• Advanced English and native or advanced Portuguese skills.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Advisor, or equivalent.
• Proven tax experience with a large multinational or Big 4 firm.
• Strong knowledge of tax within a consumer goods context.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Collaborative, curious, and adaptable mindset.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
