The Role

We are seeking a System Governance Specialist who thrives in multidisciplinary environments and believes that excellent governance is hands-on, automated, and nearly invisible when executed well. You will manage a diverse fleet of devices (primarily Linux, but also other systems), develop scripts to automate routine operations, and engineer intelligent compliance across devices, cloud identities, and mobile ecosystems. If you think in code, anticipate risks before they materialize, and envision self-healing systems, this role is for you.

Your Responsibilities

System and Endpoint Administration

• Manage and secure cross-platform environments, focusing on Linux and extending to other operating systems.
• Lead automation post-installation to standardize and secure devices at scale.
• Maintain cloud-based directory services, mobile device management, and Single Sign-On frameworks.

Automation and Process Engineering

• Build automations for device management, identity provisioning, compliance checks, and endpoint monitoring.
• Develop integrations with collaboration platforms to automate workflows and enforce compliance.
• Prioritize automation-first solutions to reduce repetitive operational tasks.

Security Governance & Compliance

• Oversee patch management lifecycle across all platforms: laptops, mobile devices, cloud instances.
• Implement proactive vulnerability management to address issues before incidents occur.
• Ensure continuous compliance with industry standards (PCI DSS, SOC 2, etc.), without hindering innovation.

Innovation in MDM and Identity Governance

• Advance mobile device and identity management towards scalable, frictionless models for remote-first operations.
• Harden endpoints continuously without compromising user experience or agility.

What We're Looking For

• Linux Expertise: Hands-on experience with Linux systems administration and security.
• Multi-OS Proficiency: Managing Linux, macOS, and Windows endpoints securely and at scale.
• Automation Skills: Building automations through scripting, APIs, and SDKs to transform manual governance into seamless workflows.
• Governance and Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of patching, vulnerability management, compliance, and endpoint hardening.
• Identity Governance: Knowledge of cloud-based identity management (SSO, federated directories, IAM) with a focus on scalability and security.
• Cloud-Native Fluency: Experience with cloud identity systems, MDM platforms, and modern authentication frameworks.
• Builder Mentality: Engineering solutions, automating relentlessly, and addressing root causes.
• Global Communicator: Fluent English skills for a distributed, multicultural team.
