Ichor Systems Singapore Pte. Ltd. in the North region seeks a seasoned Supplier Quality Engineer to drive quality for components, materials, and suppliers.

You will develop and maintain quality methodologies and procedures, providing QMS support in a fast-paced NPD and production environment to ensure supplier success as we grow. The role requires collaboration across SCM, Engineering, and Operations, qualification tracking, CAPA, and ongoing supplier audits.

Qualificações

• BS in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–10 years of experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality.
• Experience in QMS audits or certified lead auditor.
• Experience with ISO9001, PPAP/FAI, and root cause analysis techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Own supplier quality performance, including DPPM, NCRs, and SCARs.
• Lead investigation, containment, root cause, and corrective actions for supplier nonconformances.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and communicate supplier performance metrics internally.
• Support and participate in supplier audits.
• Coordinate with SCM, Engineering, and Operations during NPI and production.
• Maintain qualification trackers and supplier quality documentation.
• Support implementation of quality systems, process controls, and CAPA.
• Collaborate with suppliers on process improvements and quality control enhancements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to suppliers on quality requirements.
• Escalate supplier risks and issues appropriately.

This position is focused on the development and performance of our components, materials, and special process suppliers. You will develop and maintain quality methodologies and procedures relating to the supplier quality function. Providing quality engineering support within a dynamic and fast-paced new product development and production manufacturing environment you will ensure the success of our key suppliers as we continue to grow our business.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers on process improvements and quality control enhancements.

• Provide technical guidance and training to suppliers on quality requirements.

• Escalate supplier risks and issues appropriately

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

• 3–10 years of relevant experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality

• Experience in QMS audit assessments or qualified lead auditor certification

• Experience with:

  • Quality management systems such as ISO9001 or equivalent

  • PPAP / FAI

  • Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone)

  • Supplier audits and performance management

• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Experience in machining, fabrication, or electro-mechanical manufacturing preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as required
