STAFFKING PTE LTD is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer/Technician to support manufacturing quality. You will perform inspections, read mechanical drawings, and use measuring tools on fabricated parts and assemblies on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of QA/inspection experience, familiarity with GD&T, and an understanding of ISO 9001 quality management principles. This role requires close collaboration with production and on-site problem-solving.

Are you someone who enjoys working with engineering drawings, measurements and physical products, rather than spending your entire day behind a desk?

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer / Technician to support manufacturing quality and ensure that products meet the required engineering and customer standards.

Job Scope:

• Perform hands-on quality inspections on fabricated parts, components and assemblies.

• Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.

• Carry out measurements using inspection and measuring equipment.

• Identify defects, non-conformities and manufacturing issues.

• Work closely with production and operations teams to investigate quality problems.

• Conduct root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions.

• Follow up on quality issues to ensure corrective actions are properly implemented.

• Support customer quality requirements and respond to quality-related feedback or complaints.

• Maintain quality records, reports and performance data.

• Support the company's Quality Management System and continuous improvement activities.

• Participate in product testing and acceptance inspections where required.

Requirement:

• ITE / Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Around 2 years or more of hands-on quality, inspection or manufacturing experience.

• Able to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings and tolerances.

• Practical knowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection.

• Good to have Class 3 Driving License

• Hands-on experience using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges or similar equipment.

• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 / Quality Management Systems.

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate the cause of manufacturing defects.

• Comfortable working directly with production teams on the factory floor.
