Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Product Management | Billing based in Brazil.

The Staff Product Manager will lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for business-to-business (B2B) billing products, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a seamless customer experience. This strategic role spans taxation, invoicing, accounting, payment collection, cash application, and reconciliation across enterprise and membership-fee models. Working closely with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Design, Data, and other Product teams, you will build scalable billing capabilities that support business growth and operational efficiency. You will translate complex financial and technical challenges into practical product solutions, balancing automation, control, compliance, and usability. Through data-driven decisions, experimentation, and clear product leadership, you will influence cross-functional teams and establish shared capabilities that other teams can confidently build upon. This remote opportunity is open to professionals based in Brazil who thrive in collaborative, international, and fast-paced environments.

Accountabilities
  • Define, communicate, and drive the product vision and strategy for B2B billing, aligning stakeholders around business objectives and long-term priorities.

  • Own and maintain a strategic product roadmap that balances customer experience, regulatory compliance, financial accuracy, and platform scalability.

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of billing capabilities across taxation, invoicing, accounting, cash application, collections, and reconciliation.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Finance, Legal, Data, and other Product teams to define requirements, assess solutions, and deliver high-quality products end to end.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify billing journeys and improve how corporate clients understand invoices, tax documents, billing details, payment statuses, and account statements.

  • Make informed trade-offs between automation and operational control using data, financial insights, and customer needs.

  • Partner with internal product teams to understand their billing requirements and prioritize reusable platform capabilities that reduce duplication and improve consistency.

  • Establish objectives, key results (OKRs), performance indicators, and measurable goals to evaluate product outcomes and guide continuous improvement.

  • Manage the product backlog, facilitate planning and prioritization sessions, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders, engineers, and designers.

  • Develop hypotheses and run experiments to validate assumptions, improve customer experiences, and optimize billing processes.

  • Navigate technical and financial complexity, break down ambiguous problems into manageable components, and make pragmatic decisions in evolving environments.

  • Influence cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority, build strong partnerships, and align stakeholders with competing priorities.

  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and wellbeing-oriented working culture while modeling effective communication, organization, and responsible use of AI tools.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading impactful product development initiatives, with a proven track record of delivering meaningful product outcomes. This is a mandatory requirement for the role.

  • Strong product management expertise, including product strategy, vision development, roadmap ownership, requirements definition, backlog management, and prioritization.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders across countries and cultures.

  • A data-driven mindset, including confidence working with metrics, financial information, experimentation, and performance indicators to make decisions and improve results.

  • Ability to engage with technical complexity, discuss architecture and financial or compliance trade-offs with engineering teams, and communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous challenges, identify independent workstreams, and make practical decisions in unstructured environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, build trust with cross-functional partners, and align teams around shared goals.

  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and communicate progress and decisions proactively.

  • Adaptability and comfort working with colleagues across different time zones in a distributed, international environment.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools to improve productivity, accelerate high-quality work, and support better decision-making.

  • Preferred qualifications: Experience with billing, payments, or financial systems; B2B SaaS products; multi-country products involving tax and regulatory requirements; or an engineering or software development background.

  • Experience with platform or foundational products is an advantage.

Benefits
