Job Summary

The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for providing guidance and thought leadership to both our client and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, and technology strategy consulting. A Thirdera Senior Solution Architect has a high level of understanding in scripting and app development, including familiarity with web services, APIs, and mobile application design. Experience preferred: ITSM, ITIL v3.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor other developers (business information application software technology) to ensure the highest standard of technical quality.
2. Design, create, document, and communicate the integration approach of all the components of the architecture.
3. Research, analyze, determine capabilities, and propose solution alternatives that address specific business needs and product/service strategies across business lines.
4. Educate clients and negotiate the right technical solutions.
5. Deliver a positive and value-added experience to clients in every interaction.
6. Assist in scoping new opportunities, designing tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.
7. Ensure each artifact produced, each configured technical component, and all personal interactions are of the highest quality.
8. Act as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a program.
9. Build teams capable of executing projects.
10. Provide technical coaching and oversight to other developers/architects.
11. Define domain-specific evaluation processes for hiring that fit market needs.
12. Conduct interviews to screen and identify the best candidates.
13. Periodically evaluate team capabilities.
14. Identify emerging skill sets needed by the team and determine training requirements.
15. Align resource requirements based on demand projections.
16. Record resource training and development plans in partnership with HR.

Certifications Required

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
• Proven experience in two additional product lines outside of ITS
