Under the responsibility of the Pre-sales and/or Tendering Team Manager, the Digital Services Architect is in charge of:

• Supporting sales to engage with customers to articulate prospective business solutions and value propositions that address customer main challenges;
• Envisioning and developing an end-to-end solution architecture for Digital services / Advisors based solutions, bridging assets, devices, gateways, connectivity, cloud, integration, analytics, cyber security layers, addressing both functional and non-functional aspects;
• Supporting Digital sales in the quotation process by providing inputs on technical requirements and intricacies of IT (IT upgrades, co-legacy systems, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Providing technical leadership and advisory to sales and customers;
• Serving as a technical expert for pre-sale customer activities and internal events;
• Participating in on-site and remote customer meetings to understand requirements, pain points, challenges, and current environments;
• Communicating with customer IT-OT representatives and executives to understand IT infrastructure and policies, and presenting solutions that fit into the customer’s IT environment;
• Preparing technical materials, presentations, and tools to improve sales effectiveness and clearly state customer problems and solutions;
• Defining architecture and design of solutions/services for customer projects;
• Participating in the timely and accurate completion of RFIs/RFPs;
• Sizing solutions/services architecture and components, estimating development costs, and contributing to pricing and value proposition framing based on life-cycle cost modeling (TCO, CAPEX);
• Promoting new Digital Services offers and best practices.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in IT, Electrical Engineering;
• Proven experience in a technical role (e.g., applications engineering) complemented by sales/pre-sales/tendering experience;
• Knowledge of end-to-end cyber security, data privacy, and protection controls;
• Experience with integration platforms, related IT-OT technologies, including PLC, SCADA systems, IoT/M2M Platforms, DCS, CMMS is an advantage;
• Awareness of industry-leading IoT platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, PTC ThingWorx, GE Predix, or IBM Watson;
• Strong knowledge of Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Digital Offers & service plans;
• Extensive experience in industry domains such as Data Centers, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Retail & Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities, and Power Systems.
