Jobtailor is seeking an Incident Response / SRE professional to triage, investigate, and remediate complex alerts within production environments. You will use Python and C++ for scripting, debugging, and code analysis, with strong SQL and log-analysis capabilities to diagnose incidents.

You will collaborate with Engineering in São Paulo, participate in incident management routines, and contribute to runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Triage, investigate, and remediate alerts using runbooks and SOPs.
• Execute pipeline replays/reruns; analyze logs to diagnose incidents.
• Investigate alerts beyond SLOs and work on resolving issues.
• Document standardized procedures for recurring incidents.

Descrição da oferta de emprego

• Triage, investigate, and remediate complex alerts using runbooks and operational procedures
• Execute pipeline replays and reruns, and analyze logs to diagnose and resolve incidents
• Investigate alerts outside the SLO and work on resolving technical issues
• Use developer and debugging tools assisted by AI/LLMs
• Identify and categorize root causes of incidents and recurring defects
• Support the creation and evolution of root-cause taxonomies
• Escalate technical findings to development teams
• Create, review, and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation
• Document standardized procedures for resolving recurring incidents
• Participate in incident management, escalations, and operational routines
• Support quality audits and governance processes

Requirements

• Professional experience with Python for scripting, automation, and debugging
• Hands-on experience with C++ for code analysis and debugging
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting
• Experience debugging pipelines
• Knowledge of distributed systems and/or infrastructure
• Experience working in production environments
• Ability to analyze and classify technical defects
• Good communication skills and ability to produce technical documentation
• Availability for hybrid work (2 days per week)
• Availability to collaborate with Engineering teams in São Paulo
