EMCD a global leader in crypto mining and infrastructure is hiring a Social Media Manager based in Brazil to own our social voice across Latin America.
This is a unique opportunity to lead regional content, grow vibrant communities, and help define how one of the top crypto players engages users in Portuguese and Spanish-speaking markets. Youll be our first social hire in LATAM, with the freedom to shape campaigns, drive engagement, and make EMCDs voice heard in one of the worlds most dynamic regions.

What You'll Do
1. Lead Content & Strategy

• Create original, engaging content in Portuguese and Spanish tailored to LATAM audiences
• Own a localized content calendar that aligns with global messaging
• Launch impactful regional campaigns, AMAs, giveaways, and cultural activations

2. Grow & Nurture Community

• Be EMCDs voice across platforms: reply to DMs, comments, and spark conversations
• Stay ahead of memes, moments, and trends relevant to Latin crypto users
• Cultivate trust and loyalty through daily engagement

3. Track & Optimize Performance

• Monitor key metrics (engagement, reach, growth) and optimize content accordingly
• Share insights that inform the broader marketing strategy

4. Collaborate with Global Teams

• Sync with EMCDs global SMM, design, and video teams
• Support marketing around Brazil-based events, partnerships, and community moments

You Bring

• 3+ years in social media, content, or communitypreferably in crypto, Web3, or fintech
• Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish (required); English at C1 level
• Experience growing social channels and launching creative campaigns

About the job: Social Media Manager (LATAM)

We are seeking a creative, culturally fluent, and crypto-savvy Social Media Manager to lead EMCDs content and community engagement efforts across Latin America.

In this role, you will be responsible for localizing and executing our global social media strategy across key channels such as Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, and YouTube, while crafting content that resonates deeply with Spanish-speaking (and potentially Portuguese-speaking) audiences. Your mission is to drive growth, engagement, and loyalty across our LATAM communities.

As the first hire fully dedicated to social media in the region, you will play a crucial role in establishing EMCDs voice and visibility across one of the most dynamic and fast-growing crypto markets in the world.

RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Content Strategy & Execution

Develop original, engaging, and relevant content in Spanish (and optionally Portuguese) aligned with global goals and tailored to LATAM audiences.

Build and manage a localized content calendar to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.

Launch regional campaigns, announcements, and community activations (AMAs, contests, etc.).

2. Community Engagement

Interact daily with users, reply to comments and DMs, and moderate discussions to build vibrant social communities.

Monitor trends, memes, and cultural signals to keep EMCDs content fresh and regionally relevant.

3. Analytics & Optimization

Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, audience growth) and refine strategy based on data.

Prepare reports and insights to inform broader content decisions.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

Align closely with EMCDs global SMM team, designers, and video production teams.

Support marketing efforts around LATAM events, partnerships, and local community campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

3+ years in social media management or digital content creation, ideally in crypto, Web3, or fintech.

Proven success growing social channels, launching campaigns, and building community engagement.

Skills & Expertise

Native or fluent Spanish (required); advanced English (C1+); Portuguese is a plus.

Excellent copywriting and communication skills.

Familiarity with memes, crypto culture, and regional online behaviors.

Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Sprout Social, and platforms like Canva or Figma.
